After working with a local exclusive representative in Korea sine 1990, and experiencing significant success over the years, the Group decided that Korea is a market that would be better served under the Alcotra banner.
The company’s growth in Korea has been down to the dedication of our local team and we will continue with the same dedicated, focused personnel to ensure the continued success in Korea and to ensure that our partners receive the same high standard of service that is very much part of our group’s DNA.
With the ever-changing demands of our customers and, indeed, the market, our company’s ethos of being a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and dedicated partner, both on the supply/production and the end user markets will ensure that their businesses continue to prosper and thrive.

Our focus as a business is to ensure that we provide a quality service to our partners whether that be with the product itself, or, as importantly the management of process in our logistics, from lifting at origin to final delivery at destination. Product integrity is very much forefront in our procedures and our global team are dedicated to ensuring that that remains the case.
We source product from our diverse portfolio of origins to ensure that we always strive to create best values for our partners by leveraging our global market coverage to take advantages that arise throughout the crop year.
With storage in both major trading hubs in Korea, our team will be responsible for delivering products to our customers, whether it be CIF Korea, ex our storage facilities in Ulsan and Gunsan or delivered to their facilities by barge or truck. Our facilities will also be used a strategic regional hub to load and distribute ethanol throughout the Asia region.
